Study Planning Guides FAQ: It has been noted by some that due to the Timeless nature of ACIM, some students find it difficult to do the lessons in a timely fashion. Other students have noted that because there are exactly 365 lessons, sometimes they automatically go directly to the lesson number for the day, but this does not always work. This is because if one were to do this for all 365 days, one would inadvertenly skip some or perhaps all of the Introductions and Special Thoughts located between the lessons, which do not have lesson numbers attached. One final concern that students of ACIM have expressed is the difficulty that is sometimes experienced in planning for the next day's lessons. Without foreknowledge of whether or not the following day might require one or two additional hours of study time, sometimes such sudden major changes in study patterns can be hard to plan for and/ or to accomplish smoothly.
